When my basketball blog Le Basketbawl had just kicked off, one of the first articles I wrote was about Michael Jordan and his Air Jordan 23. The shoe was about to be released and this year's model will probably go down as the most important in the history of his line of shoes. I figured I could not pass up on an opportunity to write about this shoe's significance in history.

At the time, I was simply writing about Jordan shoes because I had a passion for them and the different Jordan color schemes and re-releases they come out with each year. Well sure enough, this post turned out to be one of my best and not for literary purposes but for blog trafficking purposes.

This post had keywords built in all over it and I was so new to the blogging world that I had to idea what I had just done. All I know is that my blog was flooded with viewers looking for info on the latest Air Jordan XX3 or 23.

Later on in my blog's life I wrote another post titled "The Quotes of Michael Jordan." Jordan is known for saying amazing things on camera and during his commercials. So I pulled up some website that a ton of MJ quotes and threw together a list of my own. Sure enough within weeks, this post had generated me even more traffic.

The online sports world is truly obsessed with Michael Jordan even years after his retirement. There are hundreds of sites out there dedicated to his shoes and when the latest color scheme will come out that generate thousands of hits a day. It is incredible.

Not only do I recommend writing a post dedicated to Michael Jordan, I demand you to! Make sure you post includes keywords that are easily search-able for this audience.
