After a long weekend with the family back in Montana, I found closure in the life of a grandparent, saw a ton of family I hadn’t seen in years, and realized some big things on the horizon in my personal life that I need to take care of (soon).  Even as a sad time with family and friends, I couldn’t have asked for a greater refresher to gear up for the summer and really start to work on some things. 

This blog had some great growth and potential during its first couple of months and then I sort of hit that 3 month wall that most blogs tend to ram head on into.  (Luckily I dropped her into neutral and sort of coasted rather than just destroying the hell out of it!)  I started leaning back towards my NBA blog while leaving this blog with the bare minimum because of the NBA Finals, had a tiff with an “anonymous” commentator, writers’ block, and renewed a love affair with the game of golf.  Oh yeah, and the sun finally appeared here in Oregon!

All of that led to a lackluster month of June and I apologize.  Please don’t completely run away now, because I promise, things will be back to normal!  It’s good to be back just before the NFL season kicks into gear and the Olympics are inching onto our shoulders.  There is a ton to write about and hopefully I can continue to tickle your brain with some of this sports blogging for money idea!

On a side note, I also need to apologize for forgetting my camera and not snapping pictures of my home town as it is easily one of the most beautiful places on the planet.  Feel free to send me a few hateful comments, because I deserve them!  And if you have a chance, do some Google searches on Whitefish, Montana to see what I’m talking about.

Lastly, give your parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and kids a big ol’ hug!
