There will definitely be a follow-up to this post, but I wanted to get at least a little love out there to our readers on this upcoming blog conference.
Blog World Expo is easily one of (if not THE) biggest blogging conference in the USA. It takes place in Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will have some special sessions dedicated to all of you sports bloggers!
I've been contacted by one of the big dogs for the conference to possibly take part in one of the Sports Blog Monetization sessions! This could be very big for the sports blogging world people! Not only will there be a monetization session, but there will be another 3 sessions dedicated to sports blogging.
Here is the list so far:
- SPORTS BLOGGING: Sports Bloggers and Access (S209)
- SPORTS BLOGGING: Capitalizing on Traffic - Monetizing Sportsblogs (S309)
- SPORTS BLOGGING: New Media Technology: Supercharging Sports Journalism (U209)
- SPORTS BLOGGING: Meet-and-Greet: Sports Bloggers & Sports Marketing (U409)
The conference is coming up quick and will take place SEPTEMBER 20th and 21st with a little extra excitement happening on the 19th.
If you sign up to attend before August 22th, you'll receive 20% off of the normal price. But if you sign up and use the Sports Dollar's VIP code then you'll get another 20% off! Pretty nice deal I would say.
DISCOUNT CODE: TSDVIP
That should do it!

girlfriend: That sounds like a lot of fun.
to girlfriend: By the way it is for a giant blog conference.
girlfriend: zzzzzzzzz
tell her that blog is paying for all those nice dates she goes on!
and it is too damnit! all that new golf gear!
I would love to go, but I have a 9-5 job, wife, baby boy, mtg, 2 cars etc... and it can not all go with me :-)
I think a ton of stuff happens at these expos. There are lots of smoke filled back rooms where deals are getting cut etc... :-)
I think any serious blogger should give it some serious thought.
