Today's logo is for rowing! Not really sure since I thought the rowing was one of the first events in the Olympics but we'll go with it.
You can check out most of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Google Logos here, with the basketball logo here, the badminton logo here, and the soccer (football) logo here.

Hey I saw a lot of rowing today so it makes sense to me.
Woah dud. I do not know what you did. I typed in http://thesportsdollar.com and it redirected me to google.com . I guess it had something to do with the pic you have up, but it was wierd. The address bar said http://thesportsdollar.com but it was the google home page. Try to do it before you post again.
Is it just me?
NO that is some annoying issue going on with godaddy and blogger. Working on a fix.
For now you have to use "www"
