Nice VP Choice McCain, you Idiot.

My opinion of McCain's remarkably ignorant choice in Sarah "Barracuda" Palin.

BARACK for Prez, FACIAL.

Nice job of shooting your campaign in the foot old man.  You really thought the Hilary supporters would come running now that you have a redneck, inexperienced, and crooked woman by your side?

And yes, I'm allowed to rant and rave my personal views on random crap from time to time!

Ah?

How not to make money by sports blogging, going off topic to annoy your audience.

Sorry, it won't happen very often, but every once in while a little off topic venting is necessary.

Agreed, Kellex. On the "going off-topic sometimes", I mean.

So long, McCain, you motherfucker.

Sorry, but there's still about 30% of Hillary supporters who won't be voting for Barack because he and the rest of the Democratic party is sexist. Even now, extremists like the Daily Kos are saying some of Palin's kids aren't really her kids, analyzing pregnancy photos.

What does everyone have against her other than the fact that she's a women and that Barack attacked her for not having enough experience the minute she was nominated instead of embracing the historic nature of it? Because Barack talking about experience is like Barack talking about housing problems...

What you have mixed up, is that the Republicans have been pointing out all along that Barack has no experience and then they run off and bring in someone with as much experience as a high school debate team.

Also what you need to understand is that Palin supports ZERO women's rights, and the biggest push for Hilary was women's rights. Assuming that people will now vote for McCain just because he brings on a pretty and inexperienced woman is a huge slap to the face of Democratic women and will likely cost McCain the election...well assuming he even stood a chance anyway.

Aside from the fact that McCain is going to have a heart attack and Barack is going to get assassinated, (He did introduce Biden as "America's next president," before correcting himself.) vice president doesn't matter too much in terms of governing. She's not going to be making any major decisions, she's just there for votes.

Now, you are being disrespectful to women by saying that Palin doesn't stand for women's rights. Women's rights means women have the right to support any idealogy they chose. The original women's rights activists were against abortion: http://www.feministsforlife.org/history/foremoth.htm

And when it comes to Hillary voters, Hillary and Obama had basically the same views, so the only reason a lot of them don't like Obama is that he defeated their candidate and he didn't show her much grace in the process. Hillary's fanatics will vote against Obama regardless of his opponent as a form of revenge.

Also, they thought the media and the establishment in general was being sexist all the time. They identified with having to go through with what they though Hillary was unfairly exposed to, and they will identify sexism against Palin.

Check out the blog http://noquarterusa.net to read what some of Hillary's fanatics are thinking.

This is a case of identity politics going against the Democratic Party.

Republicans have no idea what a mistake McCain has just made. I know a ton of women "fantatic" Hillary supporters and they are all laughing hysterically at the Republicans for thinking that this chick would make them all of sudden vote Republican. It is the most absurd argument or idea of my entire life.

Palin doesn't stand for any women's rights. We are talking about the 21st century where a woman should have the right to do whatever the F she wants, not have a bible belt government agency decide for her.

And how can you say a VP isn't going to make any major decisions? Head of the Senate is not an important role? VP's make thousands of important decisions and have forever. Do you really think she is just there for votes? How sexist does that sound?

And we all sure as hell know that a 72 year old flip flopping on making decisions that effect an entire country (or world) is the scariest thing since the re-election of the worst president in the history of the world.

72...that is making me shudder.

Whether the VP makes decisions is based on the administration, so some VP's have made a lot of decisions, but most of them haven't. It comes with personal preference of the president how many decisions the VP will make, and I'm not sure McCain would want Palin making foreign policy decisions. When it comes to domestic policy, they agree on most issues, so either of them would make the same decisions.

And now I'm laughing because you say McCain flip flops.

How bout Obama voting against a bill in Illinois that would have prevented abortions of already born babies but then saying he would have supported the ban that passed in US Senate the year before that his own advisors said was "virtually identical?"

How bout Obama telling AIPAC that Jerusalem "must remain undivided," but then telling Charlie Gibson on his foreign policy field trip that "undivided" was a "bad word choice"?

How bout Obama taking an issues poll in his Chicago days, saying he supports a ban on handguns then later saying the Supreme Court made the right decision in DC vs Heller?

Basically you just admitted that McCain invited in a VP that has zero experience and is also not qualified enough to be allowed to make any important decisions. Awesome.

And then you are also saying that you wish a 71 year old with cancer that doesn't even know what the internet is, should be making decisions for this country.

If I was a Republican, I guess I would seriously be questioning why I remain affiliated with a party that just ran the greatest country on the planet into the ground. So far under ground that it could take 8 more years just to correct it.
