Yesterday, the Digg elite took down a ton of up and coming power users due to the use of scripts. Is this the final straw? Are they taking their bans too far? Are they favoring old time power users?
Our buddy Cuzzy was included in yesterday's onslaught and is not very happy about. The guy put a ton of work into building a solid profile and was not even warned about any sort of illegal use.
Of course many of you also saw the ban of Brian Cuban and his front page worthy post on his entire debacle.
You suck Digg.
So what does this mean for Digg? I can say that it once again puts a huge damper on my feelings towards the service. How is anyone supposed to use the service for what it was originally intended? Any old user can't just submit a story and have it hit the front page anymore. You have to find a power user (that didn't get banned) and hope they like your site enough to submit it for you. Or you can spend the next 6 months building the hell out of your profile and making 300 friends, while digging everything on the planet they submit.
Who has time for that shit? I was done with Digg long ago and I think this may be the final straw for me. Well, unless Cuzzy starts working his magic again and invites me into his inner circle.

I am right here!
That is classic.
Hilarious -- cuzzy, that hurts. I guess start stumbling...
I haven't even had time for Digg for quite a while. I've even thought about deleting my profile entirely.
