Top 50 Sports Blogs: 3rd Quarter 2008

Welcome to the third edition of our Top 50 Sports Blogs!  We're still running with the Google Ad Planner uniques over the Alexa rankings as it seemed to be a big hit last time around.  Some of the rankings have definitely dropped since last month; was there nothing to write about this last quarter people?  Oh yeah, it was the summer.

    This is too awesome Kellex. Thanks for putting this together.

    This stuff really does change every quarter.

    It would be cool if everyone had their feedburner count on their front page, and then you could use that as well.

    Cleveland.com does not allow me to advertise; with Google Ad Planner in the mix, I'm afraid I'm gone from the list.

    Is there any way to break it down into individual sports?

    Hey Peter,

    Wish I could, but at this time it's all done manually and takes way too long to even do these 50.

    If anyone is an elite programmer, please step forward and volunteer your free time so that I can run these for each sport. :P

    Well I was hoping I could crack this list next time, but now that Google has banned me for no apparent reason, I don't think it's gonna happen.

    If you're only using Ad Planner, you aren't getting accurate data. Not even close to actual traffic.

    It's just a different way to look at rankings.
