Six Revisions posted their favorite 15 tools to monitoring the popularity of your website. It's a great list and one you should all check out.
A few of these I was definitely unaware of and ran my site almost all of them to see how the ol' SD is stacking up. We're not actually doing that bad for a "newish" wannabe sports blog.
Make sure you check these tools out on a regular basis if you aren't already:
- SocialMeter
- Popuri.us
- Feed Compare (won't work if you've switched to Google's new feedproxy servers)
- Alexa (and install the damn toolbar and widget on your site if you have room)
- Quantcast (great stat tracker)
