Time.com released its first ever top 25 blog rankings! They tried to grab as many of the blogs that actually have meaning to them and put them in some sort of order that you may or may not understand.

One thing that really irritated me with the list was the fact that you couldn't look at it in "list" mode. They make you click through each little blurb about each blog to find out the next one. (This was obviously done on purpose, but it's freakin' annoying.)

We thought we'd take the time to list them all out and link to them for you so you don't have to deal with Time.com's version.

Your welcome!

Do you have a solid list of blogs you read every day? No? Yes? I’m hoping that answer was “yes” which is without a doubt a good thing. As a blogger, you should already know the top dogs in your niche and you should already have subscribed to their feed. These are the guides to help your blog grow into that money making machine.

Make sure you are reading each of theses blogs daily! Remember these are the top dogs and they obviously know what they are doing. Pick up the little things they do that grab a few extra ‘hypes’ from BallHype or Digg. Most top dogs are not re-inventing the wheel; they are just adding an extra spoke here or there.

Not reading a list yet? Bad blogger! You might want to get on this in a hurry. Here are a few of the top sports blogs to give you a head start.

Welcome to the first edition of our Top 50 Sports Blog Rankings!

The Sports Dollar's Top 50 Sports Blog Rankings are in and will be released on a quarterly basis with updates accordingly.

The ranking system was based on 4 factors: the blog's BallHype ranking converted into a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest), the blog's Technorati ranking converted into a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest), the blog's Google PageRank, and the blog's Alexa ranking converted into a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest). If two blogs have equal scores, a tie-breaker was decided based on their Technorati authority.

*You may notice a few blogs dropping a little lower than you would have expected. The reason, a lack of a Technorati ranking. This may irritate some, but the fact is that this is a list of blogs and the number one blog ranking machine is Technorati. The Yahoo blogs have also been left off due to a lack of Google PageRank and Technorati ranking. ESPN sites were left on since most have Google PageRanks.
